Surplus Food Redistribution

In 2022, No Food Waste has helped recover 3125515 plates of surplus food from 16 cities across the country feeding 1964780 people in need.


Children Nutrition Program

Addressing the problem of hunger and malnourishment among school children, over 20000 children below the age of five from 200 schools have been served with 1474133 plates of freshly cooked nutritious meals as a part of the State Nutrition Program


Community Kitchens:

People’s Kitchen:

India is burdened with the problem of worker migration and starvation of their families. These daily wage workers struggle to make ends meet. To tackle this, No Food Waste provides freshly cooked wholesome food to these workers at a subsidized price. Xxx number of people

Shelter Homes:

The organization supports a shelter home with a kitchen that provides freshly cooked food to the xx inmates.

Share Your Day:

As an endeavor to share joy with the people who need it the most, the ‘Share Your Day’ initiative was launched that helps people celebrate their special days by serving food to the needy. The organization has facilitated xx donors to serve xxx meals to xx people in need.


Beyond Food Banks:

Repurpose Cooking Oil (RUCO):

The reuse of cooking oil can lead to adverse health effects including cancer. The organization has diverted xxx kg of cooking oil to xxx biodiesel plant.

Skill Building (FoSTaC Program):

A total of 274 training and 30 awareness sessions engaging 10960 across 12 districts in Tamil Nadu have been facilitated as a part of the Food Safety Training and Certification (FosTaC) in association with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).
